HTC One Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update released in the UK
TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update to HTC One smartphones in the UK.
HTC announced the news via Twitter on Monday morning, advising its customers that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean can be downloaded now for the HTC One following the update’s release across other parts of Europe.
Once the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update has been installed, HTC One owners will notice a handful of changes on their smartphone. For example, users can now choose whether to display the Launcher Bar at the bottom of the HTC One’s screen, which if switched off, enables Google Now to be accessed by swiping up from the Home button.
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean also provides the HTC One with a new quick settings panel under the notifications bar, allowing users to quickly toggle settings such as Bluetooth and WiFi.
Other changes include the ability to display the battery charge percentage, Android Daydream mode, an enhanced lockscreen with widget support, Instagram support in Blinkfeed and HTC Zoe improvements.
